Cross-Movement Collaboration: Putting the U.S. Just Food Transition Roadmap into Action

REGISTER HERE

The webinar will introduce The U.S. Just Food Transition Roadmap, which provides a framework for collaboration across movements to build power and momentum across the nation for a just food transition. Produced in partnership with more than 20 labor, environmental, public health, animal welfare, agriculture, and food advocacy organizations, the roadmap outlines how we can work together to shift governments and public policy toward a food system that prioritizes people, animals, and the planet over corporate profits. This webinar will bring together a panel of representatives from each issue area – agriculture, environment, worker justice, animal welfare, and human health – to discuss how the roadmap can be implemented to achieve our shared vision. There will be opportunity for an audience Q&A.

Panelists:

  • Katie Gillespie, Farm Forward

  • Leah Kelly, Center for Biological Diversity

  • Magaly Licolli, Venceremos

  • Annette Manusevich, World Animal Protection

  • Becky Ramsing, Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future
