Feeding the Future: CA Food Hubs and Higher Ed Basic Needs Centers

Join colleagues across California's UC, CSU, and Community College systems on Friday, November 13, from 1:00–2:00 PM PT for Feeding the Future: CA Food Hubs and Higher Ed Basic Needs Centers, an interactive webinar hosted by the California Higher Education Basic Needs Alliance and UC Essential Needs Consortium.

Learn how campus Basic Needs Centers and student food access programs can collaborate with California food hubs and small and diverse farmers to bring more fresh, locally produced foods to students. The session will feature partners from UC Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education Program (SAREP), UC San Diego, San Diego Foodshed Cooperative, and the California Department of Food and Agriculture, along with interactive breakout discussions and practical resources to support campus partnerships.

We welcome Basic Needs Center staff, student food access coordinators, campus dining and procurement teams, community food organizations, and regional farm and food hub partners.
