Description: Join us for an eye-opening webinar on a looming threat to public health: federal preemption of state and local food policies. State and local governments are at the forefront of efforts to transform the food system through better labeling and enhanced safety. Major food and beverage companies are responding to this threat to their bottom line by turning to federal lawmakers to block state laws. Advocates and policymakers need to understand what's at stake — and how to fight back.

Speakers: Melanie Benesh (EWG), Sarah Sorscher (CSPI), Emily Broad Leib (Harvard Law and Policy Clinic)
